Why Data Scientists Keep Saying Not To Use Prophet
I understand why Prophet gets picked up so often. You give it a date column and a value column, fit the model, ask for the future dataframe, and it gives you a chart that looks like somebody has already put it in a planning deck (I’m sure that in the last 30 days you’ve met at least 1 person who has done this).
